Fishing At The Caravan

Fisherman must have appropriate rod licences

The fishing on the River Trent next to the caravans is free opposite the Park Gates but much better fishing pegs are located just to your right. This is run by Simon and Gemma of Foxcovert fisheries which are drive behind pegs! to access these pegs you go through the field on foot or by car through the gate opposite The Ferryboat Inn. Cafe opens at 9am and there is a potaloo near the pegs.

Fishing is FREE for people staying at the caravan.

You can also fish some pegs overnight but need to book with Gemma.

This stretch is tidal and also does get busy at weekend with skiers.

The fishing is excellent for Barbel pike and river carp.
